I'm a big fan of post-apocalyptic books, but I wasn't all that taken with this one because of the writing style. It is written as a journalistic record of their journey around the old U.S. several years after nuclear war. While the setting and the concepts discussed were just up my alley, the journalistic style was offputting for me. If you read post-apocalyptic books, I still recommend that you read it for their possible prophecies.
