I eased a gentle woman, Betty, My Mother, into the afterlife.
and now one month later, I will ease my Father,
Marland,I WILL RAISE HIM UP ON THE LAST DAY.
I have learned life's lessons and I am ready
to step up to my position in the life cycle.

I have done a good job.
I have tilled the soil,
I have planted the seed of life, liberty and justice.
I have endured the fury of Mother Nature,
I have fertilized the soil with my descendents.
I have weeded the Garden of anger, hate, self-pity and sin.
I have nourished health, kindness, caring and forgiveness.

I have been patient,
I have embraced humility.

I thank you Mom and Dad for the lessons you have taught me.
I thank you for your dedication,
discipline,
conviction,
perseverance,
understanding,
and for being human and asking forgiveness for your errors.

You taught me that every error was not a mistake,
to never give up,
to get "off your high horse",
and to endure suffering,
having faith that it is God's will and divine plan.

Now it is time, for a new beginning,
for all of us.
God Bless you and keep you!

With all my love,
Your Daughter,
Deborah Marlene Wright
