So You Wanna Be a Gambler: Advanced Craps
So You Wanna Be a Gambler Advanced Craps
Author: John Patrick
Advanced Craps is just what it sounds like. this book is my favorite because of the power of the Money Management and discipline Theories. there are 131 chapters alone on Money Management. It takes the time honored idea of playing craps and offers a comprehensive and logical way of utilizing the Place Bets as a more potentially profitable way...  more »

John Patrick's Advanced Craps may be one on the best books on gambling ever written.

What initially attracted me to Patrick's works was that I saw, for the first time, someone articulate in print many things that I had learned from many years of gambling in casinos and racetracks. In this volume he masterfully covers the concepts that he calls The Big Four â Bankroll, Knowledge of the Game, Money Management, and Discipline â and The Little Three â Theory, Logic, and Trends. Without thorough understanding and practice of these principals, a person has no chance of winning in a casino environment where the odds are stacked against them before they ever walk into the door. That is true no matter what game a person plays.

In addition to the gambling theory that Patrick presents, the game of craps is covered in a way that is truly remarkable, much of it flying in the face of conventional wisdom. I have played the conventional way and Patrick's way and from a practical standpoint, I will now only play Patrick's methods. The explanations of the Patrick System and the No 4 / No 10 Method alone are worth the price of the book. I have played the No 4 / No 10 Method very successfully over the years and have had experienced dealers marvel over the simplicity and effectiveness of this play.

No one should ever walk through the doors of a casino until they have digested this book. I give it five stars plus.
