PBS has made me a Bentley Little fan. This is probably the third or fourth of his books I've read and I came away a little disappointed. Even witches and the walking dead couldn't keep me interested for a long read. The flashbacks were by far the best parts of the book.

This book starts off with a great premise and grabs you right away. The story gets a little too convoluted and has an ending that I thought could've been better. HOWEVER if you like horror stories in the same vein as Stephen King, then this book IS for you.

really good, though a bit slow in the very beginning

If you are looking for a good horror book..this is it!!The dead begin to walk for miles and it is up to one man to find out why. His father is one of the walkers.

As with all of Bentley Little's books, it starts out great and grabs you right away. The story has great build up and tension but the ending is always anticlimatic.
