This is an excellent entry into Marcia Muller's acclaimed Sharon McCone series. This one takes place in Hawaii, where a friend is having trouble with sabotage--and eventually murder--in connection with the filming of a documentary.

San Francisco Private Investigator Sharon McCone is up to her usual sleuthing tricks in this cleverly-plotted and complex mystery. She gets a change of scenery with some exciting action set in Hawaii.

Great read. I love this series. Read the last one, "Coming Back" and the went back and got most of the previous ones. They are all good mysteries
