This was a delightful romance with a meddling grandfather, a reformed street kid turned cop, and an innocent and brainy heroine. I loved their verbal sparring and the characterization of their extended family. It's a quick read that brought to mind Nora Robert's MacGregor series.
Another good Sherryl Woods book and a great beach read.
I read about 3 chapters in this & found it to be a little unreal. First off, a grandfather wants 2 of his relatives to be together. Who does that? Second, the granddaughter doesn't recognize this guy less than 10 years later after having a bad experience with him in the first place. I find that to be unlikely. I gave up on this book rather quickly. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea.
