Norah Vincent set out to investigate and write a book about the state of mental healthcare throughout different types of institutions. She admits herself into 3 different facilities and while documenting the differences in treatment approaches and treatment of the patients themselves, she herself battles some of her own demons. Very worthwhile read if you are interested in the state of inpatient mental healthcare.

I didn't like it. Too many hard words to try to read.
