Susan Branch's books are more than cookbooks, they are a treat and a pleasure to look at and read, much like a good novel with the bonus of beautiful illustrations. This book as her others is hand lettered. She not only has delicious recipes but also notes about making life a little more special, poems and quotes are scattered thru out too. A cozy reading cookbook with a great variety of recipes.

This book was a pleasure to read. Although a cookbook it is one of those books that is a "chat" with the author and the pictures set a dreamy atmosphere while one reads away the various recipes. If you enjoy owning pretty books you might want to add this one to your list.
