Fantastic read. This book gives a very detailed account to the events and efforts leading up the final siege of the Revolutionary War.
The book portrays both General Washington's good and bad side. It illustrates the gamble that he and his staff made in efforts to conclude the War for Independence.
It also give some insight into the thinking and planning process that took place and the final last ditch efforts of these truly amazing Patriot Warriors.
There is also a romantic interlude (not sure if it is factual or not) of one of General Washington's staff members.
Once I began reading it I was unable to stop, because this book draws you into the action and holds you there.
I recommend this book to any history buff who wants to enrich their knowledge of this time during our country's history.
I would make for a magnificent read for a High School or College book report.
