A good but not recent Phyllis Whitney. Suspenseful and engrossing.
When Lindsay received this chilling anonymous note she had to go to her father's Arizona home to learn the truth about his sudden death and about her own past - a past her father would never talk about.
She also had to discover anew her feelings for her sister's husband Rick. As a child she had adored him. Now as a woman she had to risk seeing him again - and seeing the sister who had always hated her....

One of my favorite authors... A mystery with a little romance added
Lindsey Phillips receives an anonymous note telling her to look further into the death of her father. She treks to his home to learn the truth about that death. She must also deal with seeing the sister who has always hated her and the brother-in-law she use to adore.
Romantic suspense at its best.
This is one of Whitney's absolute best, and I love ALL of her mysteries.
I was very pleasantly surprised with this book. It was a very interesting suspense-mystery that drew me in, held my attention, & kept me guessing until I finally finished the book. Good read!
