Helpful Score: 3
Part of the Lucky Santangelo series. Good book. I'd recommend reading the others first. I've enjoyed them all. Nice break from the serious thrillers and mysteries I usually read. Jackie Collins always seems to write a very strong female lead character in her books and Lucky fits that bill.
Great read!
Continuing saga of Lucky Santangelo.I foyu haven't read this one, you missed a great one!
typical Jackie Collins book... if you are a fan, its the continuing saga of Lucky Santangelo... keeps you interested throughout.
read the lucky series starting with chances to fully understand the story
Very good book, read all the books about "LUCKY"
Mob bosses daughter, who becomes very powerful herself.
Mob bosses daughter, who becomes very powerful herself.
What a great read! Enjoyed the plot and the continuing storyline of "LUCKY".
Lucky Santangelo is in the most perilous situation of her life when her prized Panther Studios is taken from her by Donna Landsman, the unscrupulous widow of Lucky's arch-enemy, Santino Bonnatti. Donna intends to desbroy Lucky in every way she can, but Lucky is street-smart, powerful, and just as ruthlessly dangerous. And so the battle for control begins.
This is the 4th book out of 6 currently in the Lucky Santangelo series. The book can be read as a stand alone (I love this about this series), or in order. Jackie Collins does a great job reintroducing the characters from previous novels as needed. The characters are all well developed and the story lines multidimensional. The books in this series are extremely hard to put down but are not real quick reads as there is a lot of detail to absorb. In Wikipedia, it is written that there is a 7th book titled, "Goddess of Vengeance" due to be released in 2010. Jackie Collins also confirms in her blog that she is currently writing "Goddess of Vengeance". Not one to be missed for sure!
Another in the Santangelo series by Jackie Collins-plenty of sex and violence-lots of characters doing lots of stuff to each other. (You can imagine). Good plot, up to the end, I thought one was a little contrived-but all in all not bad for a distracting read. I'm sure I'll read the rest of the series.
hooked on Jackie Collins!
I love Jackie Collins! This book was great!
