Being a 2013 publication, this book benefits from modern photo/printing technology, and the reproductions are often crystal-clear (paint texture fully visible) and seem to be very true to colour, based on what I've seen of Vincent's work in person.
The book is a brief overview of Vincent's career, with an emphasis on images (images take up most of each page), featuring highlights and important turning points in Vincent's evolution as an artist. Would make a lovely introduction to the artist.
The 6 prints included are all extremely sharp (brushwork and paint texture are clearly visible) and, again, appear to be true to colour.
