Paranormal survivor? :) Unrequited love, anger, self-loating, lust, mermen, sharks, unruly Gods, battles, danger, adventure, contests, jealousy, more lust, and just... oh yeah. It was awesome! Loved it. Action packed and the "loving" was... wow. Imagine survivor where you are against the best of every other paranormal race... the team who loses - dies! *gah*
Seriously - loved it. Very thrilling. Loved the action. LOVE that I got to see more of Shivawn ('cause I LOVE him!) and Valerian ('cause who doesn't love Valerian!?! *staring off into space* Mmmmmm... nymphs).
Loved the premise of the story. Very original and ... I was just glued to the page. So great! *standing ovation* Now I want to be an Amazon and have blue hair... *giggles* My hubby might not dig the blue hair, but... he would certainly enjoy the butt-kicking strong female. LOL

This was my first Gena Showalter book and I loved it! Really intense, steamy situations! I can't wait to read the other books in the series!

I loved the Nymph King but most of GS's Atlantis books are nice little reads. This was a nice little read although it took a bit to move into seeing Layel as the hero.
Book 4 of the Atlantis series - think Gena Showalter meets the TV show Survivor!!

Was ok,probably won't read more from this author.

Really enjoyed the read. The story still ties back to the other stories without going into too much detail and taking away from the main characters...Good Adult Romance
The plot of The Vampire's bride is written with the feel of a survivor type TV show. If you enjoy those kind of shows, then I imagine you will enjoy this book. But I admit, as much as I enjoy Showalter's other works, this book just wasn't for me.
The first book I have read of this group but I really liked and I have ordered the others to read.
Better book but a little cheesy

good read on the bad boy character in the series. enjoyable.
Loved it!!! Very hot read. Full of sexy action, love scenes and wonderful characters.
What a vampire. He can bite me anytime. Love this series.
I fell in love with Layel, king of the vampires. He is a tortured soul who blames himself for his mate and unborn child's deaths. I really felt sad for him, and finally happy that he found Delilah the Amazon. They are great together
I enjoyed the romance between Layel the vampire king and Delilah the amazon warrior. However, I did not like the prolonged "Survivor"-like enforced adventure on the island. The five Gods displayed typical God-like behavior - thoughtless, cruel and only out for their own enjoyment. The adventure went on for way too long and got tedious.
I liked Layel but found his 200+ years penance endearing and yet annoying at the same time. He had his future in front of him and refused to see it. Delilah was immediately hit by the love bug and her love never faltered even when Layel was intentionally cruel.
I found the ending too pat as if the author finally got tired of the story and just ended it. After torturing all of them week after week, all of a sudden the Gods were caring and understanding? The conclusion was just too forced. The previous three books were terrific but this one just okay, not really a good ending to the series

Good Read. Like the saucy, strong heroine and the take charge, to die for hero. Sizzling intimate scenes make you say, Wow! Good drama and like that it includes important parts from other books of the series to bring it through to a great finale. Love the series. Really a fan of most all of Gena Showalter series. IF you like this you will also enjoy her "Darkest" series.
I usually like Showalter's books....but this one felt contrived and never got into it at all.
A very interesting series, excellent writer and storyline. One of my favorite authors.
really like this book.
