Really inventive spin on this tale of the undead meshing post nuclear destruction & survivalist themes with the desires of a very lifelike and realistic vampire. This was the first book I ever read by Tilton & it was a thoroughly enjoyable read.

For everyone who thinks they have read it all when it comes to vampire fiction, along comes a 20 year old book by Lois Tilton that I loved. Our anti-hero vampire finds himself torn between killing humans and keeping them alive after a nuclear holocaust. Very inventive story, direct writing that is a fast read, you wont put it down til then end.
