Beau's whole life seems to be the Home Office. His a viscount as well as a spy. Now, he's at his friend, Lord Clayton's house party, to catch the Bidassoa traitor. This traitor sent a letter to the French, outlining the English plans. However, the letter to the French was intercepted before damage was done. Through tedious work, Beau has narrowed the possibilities of the traitor to three. Beau is playing valet to one of the three possible traitors.

However, Beau doesn't have an easy time because of Marianne Notley, maid to Wilhelmina Copperpot (daughter of one of the possible traitors). Marianne is suspicious and makes it evident to Beau that she doesn't trust him. Once the story devolved into sex scenes between the two, things only got worse. The ending is ridiculous. This author thinks she writes Regency; she writes soft porn. Her stories are highly readable, but the stories do not fit in the Regency genre. I'm finished with this author.
