This is a completely delightful look at how two amateurs, husband and wife, fell into rare book collecting. It all started with a hardcover copy of "War and Peace" which led them first into the world of used bookstores, then into the more rarified world of first editions and book auctions. This topic could be snooty and stuffy, but the Goldstones have a refreshingly irreverent attitude toward their experiences and encounters. This one will want to make you hit the closest used bookstore, I guarantee it.
