There were way too many plot points that were left unresolved and makes this book totally not worth your money -- unresolved custody battle, unresolved life insurance policy/military pension, unresolved conflict between the heroine and her family, unresolved town reaction to heroine's new social status as a result of her genealogy being uncovered, unresolved conflict between the heroine and the "villain" of the book (Everly Briggs).
