good book
It's been a while since I read a Munch Mancini book. It was good to see how Munch has turned her life around. I thought this one was pretty good.
I've enjoyed all of the Munch Mancini series.
Good read. Engaging characters.
This is the third book in the Munch Mancini mystery series. Munch is quite an unconventional sleuth. Not only is she an auto mechanic, she's also a recovering heroin addict and ex-prostitute. In this book, she's doing quite well working as a mechanic and raising the daughter of one of her now-dead druggie friends as her own and staying out of trouble. But Munch knows that staying clean is hard work and her world can crumble if she's not careful. In this book, an old friend from Munch's past rolls back into her life and threatens to shake up her new-found stability. I love this series--Munch is very believable and likable.
