A Wonderful book by Francine Rivers...the first of 5! Rivers is able to beautifully tell the story of Tamar, in a very Biblical way. She follows the Bible and doesn't add so much that it takes away from the truth of the story of Tamar.

I learned a lot about Tamar by reading this book. The culture in this time period is very different :-) It was very informative and interesting to read.

Excellent reading... Francine Rivers really knows to create a story from a few passages in the Bible... A historical fiction seeming to be actual non-fiction... Also with a short study to apply situations in your own life today...dg
