I loved reading the different case details that Mr. Baden spoke about. I couldn't put the book down. Even though the cases are from the early 90's and back, it was still interesting to hear aobut the procedures and testimonies he gave in court.
Think it would be an excellent read if the cases were up-to-date.

Hard to put down. A fascinating look into medical pathology.

This is a nice book if you're interested in forensics. The author, Dr. Baden, has been involved in some of the most fascinating cases, and also some very public ones. I'm a bit of a forensics geek, so a lot of the technical information in the book I already knew, but I really enjoyed how the always interesting Dr. Baden presented the information. It was clear and easy to understand, and a very fun read. I finished it quickly, not because it was too short, but because it was so interesting that I kept returning to it!

Interesting and informative narrative about the life and times of a popular Medical Examiner. Inspiration for HBO's Autopsy and CSI TV series. The many names of people and events are a little difficult to follow and the use of technical terminology slows the reading. Recommend to anyone interested in true crime or forensic studies.
