Typical Patterson, meaning short, quick chapters with a story line that keeps your interest. Also becoming "typical Patterson" is the "filler" material that does little to advance, what might otherwise be, a hundred page story. Things like side issues involving who's getting married, who's moving here or there, blah, blah, blah. Most of these side issues do little to advance the story. For example, compare the average Patterson book to the average Daniel Silva or Robert Ludlum book. Still, it's a quick and fun read.

This series and the Alex Cross are the best of Patterson, the Private series I don't like at all1

I was very happy with this one, it is very easy to read with short chapters and it moves along at a good clip, yes there are about 3 storylines going but it is written so well it is easy to keep up with all of them and not feel lost or confused.

Thanks, Patterson, another good job.

The Master does it again!! I loved this book.....yes there are about three different stories going on at the same time, but every one is exciting and thrilling. I couldn't put it down and read it in two evenings. This Patterson Series is my favorite and I can't wait for the next book!!

The Women's Murder Club seems to have the tables turned on them. It seems that they are turning into the victims this time as 3 stories become entwined in their lives. The women seem somewhat oblivious to the dangers until they are knocked over the head with the evidence yet the characters seem real enough to forgive their obvious mis-steps.

A cop, a lawyer, a journalist and a medical examiner. These 4 women are both extremely loyal to each other and totally missing the empathy to be available to assist in each other's needs until it is nearly too late.

This is my first read in this series of books by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. The main tale turns on a brilliant concept they call the 'belly bomb'. However the pace and happenstance that help solve the crimes in this story turn it into an hour tv show style book. A little bit more realism in the investigation and less blonde-ness in the time-off decisions would help the plausibility factor, but I am sure would slow the story down.

Fast-pasted and able to involve a cast of characters, this book is a quick and easy read with PG rated violence. Any one who likes a detective story should enjoy this book, despite it weaknesses.

Loved this book with the Womens Murder club and three separate sub plots going on at the same time. Cyndy looking for Mackey Morales. Yuki on her wedding cruise adventure, and stomach bombs going off after eating hamburgers and who dun it. Keep me reading page after page.

San Francisco Detective Lindsay Boxer is loving her life as a new mother. With an attentive husband, a job she loves, plus best friends who can talk about anything from sex to murder, things couldn't be better. â Then the FBI sends Lindsay a photo of a killer from her past, and her happy world is shattered. The picture captures a beautiful woman at a stoplight. But all Lindsay sees is the psychopath behind those seductive eyes: Mackie Morales, the most deranged and dangerous mind the Women's Murder Club has ever encountered.

It was different then the other Women's Club stories. I didn't feel like I had to get back to the story every day. It was OKAY!

I was disappointed in this book. Too many things going on and none of them seemed believable. I have enjoyed some of the other women's murder club books much more than this one. Too much going back and forth. I would rather have a good story with one of the characters then have them all involved in something.... Better luck next time..p
