This was an amazing story, not only of the experience Ashley had while being held hostage, but also of her story of addiction and the heartache it causes. Definitely worth hearing. I liked that the author was the reader of the audio. It made it seem more real.

This was an unbelievable story of survival, faith, and finding your calling. I loved the author's accent, and hearing her tell her story in her own words. I loved hearing how 2 people came to know their purpose through this unlikely meeting. I especially loved knowing that it is a true story about a real person and how she rose the occasion despite her fear.
I rated this low because this book suffered from a case of horrible editing. I can't even say that this had ANY editing at all. She repeated the same 3 things ad nauseam - by the time I heard the same thing on the 3rd CD yet AGAIN, I almost stopped listening. It could have been edited down to 3 CDs, tops. All in all, it was a GREAT story. Just be forwarned that this repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats (haha you get the idea).
