James Sire's writing style is beautiful and almost lyrical. As nonfiction based on theology and philosophy, the book is not as easy to read or understand as more popular books, but it presents the information in a way that makes it fascinating. I'm only on the fourth chapter, and I find myself wanting to read on and to recommend it to friends.

This book is very heavy reading. I also used this book for my ethics class. I did not enjoy it. If you already know what a worldview is and you're a theology major, this book would be good for you. The book uses terms as if the reader already knows what they are. There are very few explanations. Do not order this book unless you are prepared to be bored.
