First book in the Blood River Series/ A Buck Lawson Mystery

I am a fan of the Raine Stockton Dog Mystery series. In that series Buck is the EX of Raine. In this new series he is off on a new adventure. I am not a fan of pets or the dead speaking, but the way it was worked in to this story was OK.
