Our ace mechanic, Munch Mancini, is upset when a customer is found dead on the side of the freeway with electrocution marks on her body. The details resemble a rape case that Mace St. John, her cop friend is working on. Then a third victim, who is also a customer at Munchs garage shows up and the rapist begins to make threatening phone calls to Munch. Delightfully twisty and yes, good does prevail at the end.

Well written tale with a different kind of heroine. The back story is presented well enough that you don't need to have read the previous three books to enjoy the read.

From back cover: After years of living on the edge, Munch Mancini finally has her life together. Now a respectable mom and a mechanic to L.A.'s elite, the former biker is the sole proprietor of her very own fledgling limo service. With new beau Garrett Dimond at her side, the future is looking pretty bright. But when one of her female clients is murdered and another attacked by a sexual predator, Munch and her young daughter become targets because of what Munch may or may not know.

With the help of her friend and former arresting officer, Mace St. John, Munch takes the offensive to stop the madman before he gets too close.

I held off for a long time starting this series. I wasn't sure I would enjoy a book featuring a reformed addict/alcoholic/'loose woman'. When I finally read the first one, I knew I'd have to read the rest of the series. Munch is such a strong character, it was sheer pleasure reading about her life. The murder mystery was the plum on top of the cake. Don't miss this series.
