This is so far the best book I have read on depression. It made me realize there are so many ways I think and behave that are due to my diagnosis (major depression), rather than due to what I saw as my personality flaws. The author is very knowledgeable as he is both a professional and someone with a depressive disorder. His action plan for coping with symptoms can be a bit daunting if you're very depressed, but I think the book overall can be helpful for anyone with depressive tendencies.

I thought this was a well written book. Sometimes the author get a bit into the trade lingo, but you can easily skim that part.
