I bought this book for my then 12 year old granddaughter. I looked at everything on the market and I thought this was the best one with the least graphic and weird explanations. In any event all of these books should be shared with teens along with a good dose of parental guidance. This book talks to parents as well as the child. Granddaughter felt it told her exactly what she needed and wanted to know she is 16 now and still does not date, just does group things. Happy, lovely and "in the know"
