I couldn't wait to read this book after seeing it in a catalog for school. But when I started reading, I was very disappointed. I was looking for a more mature, romantic preteen novel, while this was very mild, anticlimactic, and not much of a love story at all. Overall it is a very boring book, but a light easy read. Perfect for when you're just looking for something to pass the time that you don't need to pay much attention to. More of a book for younger readers who read at a higher reading level because it isn't written using "kiddie language" but it is so tame that it will most likely bore older preteens and teens to death.
