Loved every moment of reading this book. A real eye-opener to the founding of our country and more. Every chapter (essay?) is so interesting and opened my eyes to new things about some pretty famous people. There are also many quotes and Bible verses that are wonderful when seen in the context of the essays. I loved this book so much that it is on my keeper shelf (I rarely keep books, trade them away as soon as I read them) AND I have ordered another copy from here for a family member.

stories were inspiring and well written. Good to read to children as the stories are each short and thought provoking.
GREAT BOOK! I have cried, smiled, and laughed while reading this book. A very touching to the soul kind of book.
haven't read it, i bought intending to, but just never found the time. it tells the stories of men and women of faith who forged our nation.
This was a great resource I used in my Sunday school class.
