The secrets of families are sometimes discovered in interesting stories---such is the basis of this Rosamunde Pilcher book. The storyline is interesting, albeit somewhat confusing to begin with.

I don't often read romance novels, but this one was actually rather good.
Better than average story of twins separated at birth.
Very good!
Like all Rosamunde Pilcher books I have enjoyed, this one features engaging characters that I cared about deeply and was invested in following them through to the end. Wonderful setting in the Highlands and overall a breezy read.
Story of identical twins...good read and the setting of course is beautiful.

Flora and Rose are identical twins who have never met. Rose has been raised by a frivilous mother to be part of the international jet set and Flora has spent her childhood with her father in a quiet cottage. Then, one day, the twins meet. I loved this book and give it an A!
Every family hides something, but Flora Waring discovered a devastating deception in hers. At twenty-two she learned she had an identical twin, Rose, who lived with the mother Flora didn't remember at all. And when Flora ended p impersonating the high-spirited, spoiled Rose, she would have to face how cruel lies can be. When she agreed to accompany Rose's fiance to meet his grandmother in a picturesque town on the Scottish coast, she would quickly fall in love with the lush green countryside, the Armstrong family, and a rare, wonderful man. But she would also confront Rose's shocking secrets and a betrayal that could break her heart.

Picture on cover is different than the one here. Book and pages look great! Minor edge wear only.
