Book #9 in The Corps Series. Hubby is a former Marine (once a Marine, always a Marine) He has really enjoyed this series, described by The Orlando Sentinel as "an insider's tale of life in the Marine Corps. This book enters a new stage of modern warfare - with new weapons, new strategies, and a new breed of warrior - on the battlefields of Korea.

Last of the WEB Griffin "Corps" series, this is another fast read with a good story line having a backdrop against 20th C. American History. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
In 1950, Captain Ken McCoy's report on North Korean hostilities meets with so much bureaucratic displeasure that he is promply booted out ot the Corps-and just as promply picked up by the CIA.
Hubby says great read. Lots of action.
