Just couldn't stick with it--very draggy and lots and lots of descriptions, Thorn and Sugarman might be great characters if presented right but this wasn't a very good start.
How does James W. Hal do it? Another exciting, gripping tale of Thorn, Sugarman and their exploits. Leaves you guessing who's going to "be done."
The setting is the Florida Keys. As an infant, Thorn survives a hit and run driver who killed his parents. Late in his teens, he finds revenge. The lady who raised him is found dead. This puts him on another score-settling mission with a new found love at his side who holds a surprising secret.
This is the first James Hall book I have read, but not my last. It has humor, suspense, and a nice ending.
