(must resist urge to gush ...)

This is one of the more amazing and important books I have ever read. It pulls together what seem like separate problems, disparate sectors of today's world system and several reasons why it persists in spite of itself. It helps the close reader wake up from the (imposed) dream of our (now corporatist) civilization and take a wider and deeper view of our situation.

It is hard going here and there, but rewards the hard work needed to get through and glean insight. I will have to reread it in a few weeks, with a view to better understanding and the collecting of detailed notes (how I finally internalize a project).

Highly recommended for those frustrated by what seems the futility of either government(s) or mass action to reclaim the planet for the living.
