An interesting little book on the account of Rosetta Wakeman's time in the Civil War. I must of enjoyed reading it because I ordered and read it twice! You must read to get a feel for their struggles during that time.

actually the introduction is the best part - and is worth getting the book for. It explains about women as soldiers. The letters are pretty mundane - but I do recommend it.
