The Ultramarines Omnibus - Warhammer 40,000 Author:Graham McNeill The Ultramarines Omnibus (Warhammer 40,000). An omnibus collection. The Ultramarines have been the honourable cornerstone of the Adeptus Astartes throughout their ten thousand year history. — "We are the Ultramarines, the sons of Guilliman. Whilst we draw breath, we stand. Whilst we stand, we fight. W... more »hilst we fight, we prevail. Nothing shall stay our wrath."-- Marneus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines.
The Ultramarines are the epitome of a Space Marine Chapter. They tirelessly defend the Imperium from all threats, and uphold the legacy of their primarch. No Space Marine Chapter can claim so long and glorious a history as the Ultramarines. As one of the original twenty Legiones Astartes they fought many wars under the command of their primarch Roboute Guilliman, and after the dark years of the Horus Heresy it was his wisdom that broke the remaining Legions into smaller Chapters, all the better to safeguard the Imperium from its many foes. Across ten thousand years of unceasing conflict, the Ultramarines have waged war against xenos and traitors of every kind, and their deeds have become legend across the Imperium.
