This was ok, and well written, but don't expect to be scared. The book is more fantasy, than horror. The story by Lovecraft is good, and there is a hilarious story of an old women telling a Halloween tale to some children.

Cute book... Some stories are funny, others are scary and some are sad.... and creepy.... One story annoyed me ugh... The witch who hated halloween... Soooo predictable....

Loved the stories by the featured writers, the rest you could pass on. I read these stories out loud during the week of Halloween and we found that it really fit the mood. The featured shorts aren't too long (usually 12-20 pages) but are very satisfying.
