Look, this is one of those gimmicky kind of books, anchored to the 50 state stamps issued a couple years ago (postage 34 cents). But it's cute, and I like it. We're studying the 50 states, and I'm trying to interest my boys in stamp collecting. This was a pretty easy way to do that.
Here's what it is: a folder to hold the 50 stamps and a 40-page booklet. Half of the booklet is about stamp collecting in general. The last half shows a large picture of each state stamp (its capital and nickname), with a one-sentence description of what is depicted on the stamp.
Good points: the stamp holders will not damage mint stamps. Bad point: This will only hold the one set of state stamps.
