Geoffrey Norman has written a beautiful book about fatherhood and mountain climbing. His parallel stories share some of the challenges of both adventures. Norman and his daughter, Brooke, learn how to mountain climb; then proceed to successfully climb the Grand Teton. The two seek the challenge of climbing Aconcagua, a 19,000 mountain in Chile. They successfully accomplish their 'dream;' after much hard work, sweat, and near-quit attempt at this feat. A great read about a father sharing his personal love of parenthood and that of the mountain climbing.
