Wonderful book. One of the best I've read in a long time. Deep look at the cultural difference between French and English Canada. A defeated people, abandoned by France. Comparisons to Greek history. Strong central character at odds and in support of both. Beautifully written by an extremely talented author. Highly recommended, must read.
