I really enjoyed this book. It is a fictional story about Mary and Joseph, what they might have felt and thought before and during Jesus's birth. It pictures them in a very human light, as if they were just like us. That's not how we tend to view them. I thought it was a wonderful book.

This is a wonderful adaptation on the story of jospeh and mary, any one interested in jesus's life should read this book. i was awed by the story and really have a more realistic understanding of the way the life of christ could possibly have begun on earth, a wonderful story and a wonderful feeling after reading the story, it is short and sweet, but worth the time it takes to read it. you must read this one, and if you can find this book you must keep the book!it is really not easy to get anymore! this copy i have is old yellow and not in great shape, but it is complete readable and still has the covers. this will be a hard one to part with, but i am willing to let someone else enjoy the pleasure of at least reading this book.its worth it no matter how the shape of the book is!!!! if the book is not acceptable i will replace with another book on my list of choices!

The story of Mary and Joseph told as a the love story that it is. What would it be like to be a young girl living at that time and find yourself 'with child'? This tender story gives insights into the culture and practices of the time while telling the story in a fashion that is true to the characters we read about in the Bible.

Loved this book. Really makes you think Mary and Joseph in a more human way.
