Most of these stories can be read in 30 minutes, while the first story might take one hour. The book is very appropriately named, because the very end of each story has a bizarrre "twist" that you don't expect. The twist happens literally in the last sentence or two of each story, and the reader is completely surprised.
Some excellent short stories...and most of them really did have a twist I wasn't expecting. Even though they were short stories I thought they were very well developed.

Excellent book of short stories .. with lots of *Twists in the Tales*
A collection of 12 short stories, each with a twist - many you will see coming, but still appreciate. Well written, very British, quite enjoyable.
A book containing 12 short stories. Each is good in its own right, but I would rather have had one longer story. Archer tell a good tale!!

Fantastic book. I've read this and recommended it to several people. Don't miss this one. Easy read, since it is a collection of short stores.
