This is a favorite of mine from childhood. I, even thirty years later, remember vivid scenes from it. A science fiction novel, the setting is early 20th, late 19th Century. It contains no violence or sex whatsoever - and is a great story about a man taking a balloon trip that accidentally ends up on a volcano. Enjoy!
