Amazing to see the ordinary characteristics and behaviors of the twelve disciples, and then realize that YES, He most certainly wants me too! This book is WONDERFUL!

I am still reading this book but I can tell you this is very well written with the premise that Jesus didn't pick special people to be His disciples, but picked very, very ordinary men to carry on his ministry. This is the fact of the matter, the work of these 12 men is still being felt today. They were nothing special but God can do special things through plain every day people.
