I read a little over half, skipped to the last chapter and ended it. Feehan repeated everything over and over, until I couldn't go on. Usually I can hang in there, my interest peaked on what happens eventually, but not this time. I loved all the others, and the Dark series, but for me this was a bust.

This was my least favorite of the Drake Sister's novels. I was really looking forward to the interaction between Joley and Ilya, but really, it was just sex, and a LOT of it. There wasn't the play between the two characters like in her previous books. It just went on and on about how Joley wanted him, but couldn't let him in, and over and over. Sometimes it seemed she just wrote the same chapter over and over. Get on with the story already. Her sisters were pretty much non-existent in this book which was very disappointing. The sisters' relationships are what makes this series so great, but it just wasn't there.
Worth the read to keep up with the series, but disappointing as a whole.

Pretty good. She's managed to stay pretty consistant with this series and Joley's story doesn't stray from that. Not a lot of surprise but no disapointments as well. I have never liked reading her Dark series because I always felt the Carpantians were too highhanded and Ilya toes the line a lot with his "demands." The Russian theme was used in this and I think she has opened up options for more books with the direction she went here.
This is another great book. It was easy to follow and had a great plot. I would definitely recommend this book.

I couldn't put this book down. I was constantly in suspense. Another great book by Mrs. Feehan.
This is one of my favorite books!!! It was absolutely wonderful.
IT WAS SOMETHING MISSED IN THIS BOOK AND I LOVE CHRISTINE FEEHAN BOOKS I WAS LOOKED FOR SOMETHING MORE AND I FOUND MY SELF READED AND STOP WITH THIS BOOK . AND TRULEY THAT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE DID THAT WITH ANY OF HER BOOKS
Wonderful...my favorite in the series so far, and the most intense.
This was a great read. I have been dying to read Joley's story and Feehan did not disappoint.
LOVE all of Christine Feehan's books but this one had to be my favorite. Superb story line with characters that are " less than perfect" that have flaws. Refreshing to read about characters that seem more like the rest of us......
I have read and reread this probably a dozen times. Makes me hungry for more about these two characters, which always happens with Ms Feehan's books!

Another great Drake Sisters book. This one is about Joley, Illya and the Russian Mob. The only thing I found disappointing was that the Drake family - her sisters, were not a huge part of the book as they usually are. But there was a lot of great chemistry between Joley and Illya, as expressed in previous books, it was great to see them work things out throughout the book.
Can't wait to read Elle's story next! It can't come fast enough for me :)

Joley's story. Awesome as ever.
This is the 6th book in the series. This is Joley and Ilya's story. It was a good read.
This is a series and focuses on the sister,Joley, that is a rock-and-roll star. She is attracted to a Russian bodyguard, Ilya Prakenskii, who works for the Russian mob. The books is easy and fast to read and keeps you interested as all of this series has.
Loved it, finished in one day!!!!
