Very disappointing after reading The Pecan Man. This is mainly just a short (under 200 pages) explanation of Grace's addiction and recovery with Miss Ora's and her family's support many years after her childhood rape. Upon Pecan Man's death, the case gets investigated by the defender's office and a reporter writes an expose on the coverup of the original crime that led to his false arrest and conviction.
