Truly Madly Viking - Viking II, Bk 2
Author: Sandra Hill
MAD ABOUT YOU — His boat off-course, distracted by a randy she-whale whose infatuation had somehow thrust him into the twenty-first century, Jorund Ericsson had cause to question his surroundings.  And though the befuddled Viking thought he'd found heaven when he caught sight of the comely wench with the man-hair and the kiss-some lips, ...  more »

Quite possibly the worst book ever written. I gave it a one because a zero rating isn't an option. This is the actual plot: A Viking is on a quest to find his brother but is thwarted when a mind-reading killer whale transports him to the twentieth century where he is sent to a mental ward, only to fall in love with his psychotherapist.

I got this book thinking it would be a laugh, but it is poorly written, dull, stupid, and not even remotely fun despite its silly and potentially humorous premise. Seriously, this book is a waste of perfectly good paper.

One of the best books I've read this year. Laugh out loud. A Viking time traveler who trains with Navy Seals. A fierce warrier, and a Navy doctor. The story that you will love. Fast paced, laughs a minute, smart dialogue, sexy banter and great love scenes. Who could ask for more in a book?

What do you get when you combine a mind-reading whale, a perfectly sane Viking warrior, a trip through time, and a modern day lady psychiatrist? Another keeper from Sandra Hill, of course!
Jorund Ericsson was on a quest to locate his missing brother when Thora, the mind-reading whale, found a way not only to communicate with Jorund but also a way to deliver him naked as the day he was born to the year 2000.
Claiming to be a Viking warrior, Jorund finds himself in a psychiatric hospital among the oddest assortment of lackwits he'd ever seen - and under the care of Dr. Maggie McBride. Now, in addition to his quest to locate his missing brother, Jorund must prove his sanity, contend with his growing attraction to Maggie, and get back to his own time where he belongs. But is his destiny in the year 998 AD or in Maggie McBride's 21st century arms?
de hilarious adventure with fabulously crafted characters and a story that is as fast paced and unforgettable as it is engaging. Sandra Hill has a gift for writing keepers!

A gorgeous Viking from the 10th century, an amorous whale and a 20th century mother and daughter makes up this delightful cast of Hill's time travel book. The usual laughs and confusion make a fun romance.

I've enjoyed other Sandra Hill time travel books and decided to read the Viking II series. All 10 books in under 2 weeks.

I gave this book 3 1/2 stars.

This is the 2nd book in the Viking II series, and it was about Jorund Ericsson and his escapades with a randy killer whale. I kid! I kid! He travels forward into time and ends up as a "nutty" while getting "help" from a psychiatrist, Maggie, at a private institution. He makes friends, who in turn are part of Jorund and Maggie's relationship throughout the book. Really enjoyable!
