This is such an enjoyable, well-written story with quirky characters at a quirky school and a fascinating historical mystery. What mystery fan wouldn't like to read of a high school crime devotee attending a free exclusive academy where learning is a game, students pursue their interests and the unsolved kidnapping and murder she's most interested in takes place? Reminds me of Brittany Cavallaro's Charlotte Holmes series and Alan Bradley's Flavia de Luce series. I guess I love a good female detective a la Nancy Drew!
