It took about a month for me to get through three quarters of the book, and I finally decided to give up. It wasn't horrible...I just don't think it was for me. I typically like memoirs, but I just didn't find there to be anything extraordinarily interesting about Molly's family. Also, due to the limited time I have for reading, I prefer light and quick reads. The author's writing style was very rich and I didn't find this the type of book I could just breeze through. She is a very good writer and paints a good picture of the narrative that she is telling.
