Jill is a 14 year old girl who is 5'9". Nothing she does turns out right.She tries to clean her school band trumpets and ruins it.She has to pay $30 for the ruined horn.She tries and miserably fails at everything.She finds a job that fits.Then her mom gets sick and she has to take care of her three little sisters, She takes over with her aunt's help and she sees how hard mom works every day. She also sees why mom can not drop everything for on Jill's whim for Jill.
