Another humorous mystery. I love any book that makes me laugh.

Ellie Haskell's long-lost father shows up at her door with an urn conttaining the ashes of the love of his life, who died in an accident in Germany -- or so he thinks. Ellie and Ben soon decide otherwise. This is up to the usual -- and hilarious -- standards of this series.
Witty and entertaining. The Denver Post was correct in its review, "..a wonderfully dotty cast of characters, an unerring sense of the absurd, and witty dialogue and insights."

Another delightful chapter in the life of Ellie Haskell. Ellie meets a gypsy fortuneteller, is reunited with her absent father and the ashes of his dearly departed sweetheart, and things go from wacky to worse.

Ellie Haskell and her husband, Ben, haven't had a vacation in years. Now their bags are packed, and they're ready to set off for a romantic getaway to France. But things go awry when a chain-smoking gypsy approaches Ellie with a dire prediction: "Take that trip at your peril!"
